Daing/Dinaing is a comfort food by many Filipinos. The fish is split open, salted and sun-dried to be preserved as Daing/Dinaing. Cooked with sour sun-dried kamias as a counter-point to bring out the flavor of the Daing.
Suggested Uses: Heat bottle contents in a sauce pan. Remove fish fillets form heat. Use the same pan and caramelize onion rings. Serve. Or, simply top on pipping-hot cooked steamed rice with sunny-side up eggs on the side. Serve and Enjoy.
